ISOnV geïsoleerde geleider is een gespecialiseerde bliksemafleider die tijdens gebruik kan worden blootgesteld aan impulsstromen tot 200 kA. ISOnV is ontworpen en getest om de scheidingsafstand en boog te regelen. Een halfgeleidende buitenlaag wordt gebruikt om spanningsgradiënten onder bliksemomstandigheden te minimaliseren.
