In de voedingsmiddelenindustrie gelden strenge hygiëneregels, ook voor machines en kabelwartels. Kabelwartels moeten vrij zijn van externe schroefdraden om vuilophoping te voorkomen en goed schoon te maken zijn. Pflitsch heeft de blueglobe CLEAN® Plus kabelwartels ontwikkeld die voldoen aan hoge EHEDG-eisen en geschikt zijn voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie, farmacie, chemie en cleanrooms. Deze wartels hebben een glad oppervlak met een oppervlakteruwheid van Ra < 0,8 µm en afgeronde hoeken, wat het reinigen vergemakkelijkt. De afdichtingen zijn gemaakt van kunststoffen die voldoen aan EU-verordening 10/2011 voor voedselcontact, waardoor ze bijdragen aan een veilige en hygiënische productie.
