Dit apparaat behoort tot het Vigilohm-assortiment dat is ontworpen om niet-geaarde/IT-elektriciteitsnetwerken te bewaken, in overeenstemming met de installatie- en productnormen. Volgens de normen wordt aangeraden uw systemen uit te rusten met Isolatiebewakingsapparatuur (IMD). Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het bewaken van ac-, dc- en acdc-systemen van middelgrote omvang, met beperkte storingen. Het meet de systeemisolatieweerstand door een laagfrequente AC-stroom tussen het netwerk en de aarde te injecteren. De configuratie wordt ingesteld afhankelijk van de installatie. De instellingen zijn te vinden op de voorkant van het apparaat via het HMI-scherm. De instellingen zijn alarmdrempels van 0,5 kilohm tot 500 kilohm, en alarmvertraging van 0 tot 7200 seconden. De UPS bewaakt netwerken tot 600 VAC bij aansluiting op de nulleider, 480 V bij aansluiting op de lijn en 345 VDC met maximaal 70 microfarad.
